Final Thoughts On MMA

I  absolutely loved it. Goldie, was very positive and helpful. I got to learn alot of self defense, headlocks, and break falling. It was honestly really fun, we got to wrestle/spar with our peers. I will be continuing   kickboxing but I'm afraid not at Goldie's martial arts, but  I will be joining my brothers don jitsu ryu/kickboxing class.

GOALS !?!?! =]

In Class Goals:

Week 1 :
Timed 1 min sit-ups : 34
Timed 1 min push-ups: 20
Timed field run: 2 mins
Timed plank: 2 mins

Week 2 Expectations Out Of  Myself :
Timed 1 min sit-ups : 40
Timed 1 min push-ups: 20- 25
Timed field run : 1 50s
Timed Plank: 2 15s



Self Goals Outside Of Class !!! : 

  • Every second night before bed :
            -50 sit-ups
            -50 squats
            -20 push-ups

  • Attend every P.E class until its over

  • Start Participating 100%

  • Start doing things that require more fitness

Thoughts On Martial Arts

This past couple weeks we've had 2 classes at a martial arts studio. It interested me a lot. We learned some self-defense, striking, dodging, along with a pre warm-up.  It was very exhilarating and very tiring in a good sort of way. Hopefully I’ll be joining my brother’s Jujitsu class soon. The Instructor  was also very supportive and kind.

Self Assessment for PE !!!

During PE so far this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate in a variety of activities? 

When I have shown up I always come with gym strip and try my absalote hardest to participate in all activities.

On what days have you participated to your best effort and why ?

When we've went to the field and to the martial arts class. The field, because even though I was late, I still participated in my run. Even though I had missed it.  In the martial arts class I was very interested/participating since it’s something I’d like to enroll in.

What days have been a struggle?  

Days like these I find particularly restless do to the fact were sitting here blogging.  Other days it’s challenging do to the facts of my limits as far as breathing goes.

How do you contribute to the overall success of the class ?

Try to motivate others to come to class or participate.

What kind of attitude do you bring and why ?

Usually a positive attitude, I sometimes complain about having to travel after school.

How do you interact with other students in the class ?

I treat them the way I’d like to be treated.  =]

Describe your participation during class. Have you been able to push yourself physically and/or emotionally?

When I attend, I always participate. Yes, I have been able to push myself physically/emotionally.

What types of fitness activities do you enjoy most?  

Gym, active sports, walking, going for runs , yoga, and  kick boxing/ martial arts.

How are you accomplishing your goal(s), are you still on track?

I have kind of fallen off track at school but at home I still keep  fairly fit.
Some of the things I do; include :
-yoga
-gym
-running my dog

What does “leadership” mean to you ?

Not necessarily being the best in the class but doing your best, but showing support ,positivity, and participation.

What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?

Building my muscle strength and my endurance for a long period of work out.

What are you the most proud of so far?
That I haven’t been kicked out of class =]

Have you been updating your blog weekly with activities you’ve been doing outside of class time?

No, I haven’t been keeping up to date with my blogging, but I have been keep up to date with my health outside of class. 

Have you been updating you blog on your process to accomplishing your goal?

No I haven’t, but I will be soon.
Have you been working on achieving your goal?

Always, but not in class.
Have you been reading and commenting, supporting your peers with their goals and posts of extra activity?

Thoughts On PE !!

I'll be quite honest this is one of my first times ever blogging. Please bare with me :) 

 My thoughts on PE .... 

Likes : 
-Learning about our bodies ( health, what foods to eat etc.) 
-Running
-Sports (baseball, soccer, volleyball) 
-Motivating myself to do better 
-Challenging Myself
-Being in the sun (when its not raining ) 
-My awesome teachers =D
-The gym (up at the highschool ) 

Dislikes: 
-Blogging -.- 
-Running in the rain 
-Loosing my breath 
- Playing sports in the rain 

Fears: 
-Not Improving 
-Failing this course 
-Might not meet my teachers standards as far as grades go 
-Not gaining any muscle tone =$ 
-Not accomplishing my goals for this course

Hey =] I'm Chantal not really entirely good at these about me boxes but here's me in a nutshell ^.^
